Editorial & Peer Review Process

All submissions to the Journal of Applied Medical and Surgical Disciplines (JAMSD) undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent experts. Editorial decisions are made based on scientific merit, methodological rigor, relevance, and ethical compliance. Reviewers and editors are required to disclose conflicts of interest and uphold confidentiality.

All manuscripts are first screened by the editorial office for adherence to submission guidelines and journal scope. Submissions that meet basic requirements are then reviewed anonymously by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on clarity, methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and contribution to existing knowledge. The final decision—acceptance, revision, or rejection—is made by the handling editor in consultation with the editorial board, based on reviewers' recommendations.

JAMSD's peer review process reflects international best practices and is guided by COPE recommendations. The journal’s Editorial Board comprises experienced researchers and health professionals from across disciplines and geographic regions.
